CCW Class Postponed, new date: Oct 16
Tulare County Farm Bureau has scheduled a 4-hour, California Concealed Weapons Course on Oct. 16, 2017, 6-10 p.m., at the TCFB office. The cost of the class is $40 and refreshments will be provided by the Farm Bureau. (This replaces the course set for Oct. 4 that was cancelled).
The class, taught by California Concealed Carry Permit Training (www.caccptraining.com), will cover Tulare County initial/renewal, Kings County renewal, City of Fresno renewal, City of Lemoore renewal and City of Hanford renewal. A multi-state Utah and Arizona license can also be acquired for an additional $50.
The course will highlight the following:
• California laws pertaining to carrying a concealed firearm
• Firearm safety
• Different ways to conceal your firearms while carrying
• Proper storage of your firearms
• Transportation of your firearms
• Handling firearms safely
• Proper maintenance of your firearms
Reservations and payment are required in advance. Please be sure to also bring a note pad, pen, pencil and highlighter.

Heritage Member Reception:
Thursday, October 19 the Farm Bureau will host an appreciation reception for their Heritage Members, and are inviting business support members and other interested guests to join them for a reception in Exeter, held at the Stuller Residence.
The event will include hosted beverages and food by the Chicken Shack. Call the office to learn more and to receive an invitation. This reception is for those businesses or individuals that wish to upgrade their membeship and pledge greater support to the Farm Bureau through the payment of premium dues at the $1,000 or $2,500 levels.
These levels provide businesses greater visibility at Farm Bureau events, recognition at major events as a supporter, logo and brand placement in e-news, website, and at the TCFB board room. Heritage Members also receive free advertising in the annual Source Book.
