Anyone can be a Farm Bureau member and show their support for agriculture

Scholarship

The Tulare County Farm Bureau has awarded nearly $100,000 in scholarships since 1990 when we began awarding two $500 scholarships to students pursuing careers in agriculture.  Since then our scholarship program has expanded to include additional scholarships.  We have also made the scholarships renewable awards so a student could receive up to $2,000 in a four year period.  The Tulare County Farm Bureau also oversees and serves as stewards for various other scholarship programs including the Riberio, Collison and Shannon Memorial Scholarship funds.

A core value of Farm Bureau is the importance our organization places on education.  In order to help support those Tulare County residents seeking an education, the Tulare County Farm Bureau maintains an active youth and adult scholarship program.  Our scholarship programs are primarily funded by donations generated by our annual fund raiser, as are our Ag in the Classroom and Youth Leadership Programs.
