Rural Health and Safety

Originally established to primarily help rural residents obtain quality health insurance, the Rural Health & Safety Committee works in tandem with local hospitals to ensure the rural community has access to quality health care.

The committee also takes an active role by sponsoring various safety seminars including hazardous material training, heat stress prevention, an annual Cotton Harvest Safety event and promotes proper chemical disposal with an agricultural chemical collection day.
